Geneva: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against Qatar, warning of grave consequences for regional peace and security.
Speaking at the UN Human Rights Council, Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative stressed the Kingdom’s full solidarity with Qatar and support for all measures it undertakes to protect its sovereignty. He described Israel’s actions as criminal violations of international law and norms that endanger regional stability.
The Kingdom also denounced ongoing Israeli practices against Palestinians, including forced displacement, blockade, and starvation policies, calling them blatant breaches of humanitarian principles. In addition, Saudi Arabia condemned Israel’s continued strikes in Syria, particularly in Homs and Latakia, urging urgent international action to hold Israel accountable.
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its position that protecting Palestinian rights and regional sovereignty is vital to restoring security and stability in the Middle East.
