Saudi Arabia is set to enhance its international air connectivity with a new initiative under its Air Connectivity Program (ACP), which has inked a memorandum of understanding with the premium airline beOnd. The agreement aims to launch direct all-premium flights from Red Sea International Airport to six prominent European cities, namely London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Moscow. This move is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to boost its tourism sector and align with the objectives of Vision 2030.

The signing of this agreement took place at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in London, underscoring Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its global air links. By opening these new routes, the Kingdom seeks to facilitate easier access for international travelers, thereby driving an increase in inbound tourism. This development is expected not only to enhance travel options but also to position the Red Sea as a premier luxury travel destination.

Officials involved in the initiative have emphasized that the partnership is designed to support the Kingdom’s tourism ambitions by attracting more visitors and boosting long-term economic growth. The proposed routes are anticipated to strengthen aviation and tourism connections, which are pivotal for Saudi Arabia’s development goals.

beOnd, known for its premium leisure travel services, has expressed its dedication to this partnership, viewing it as a significant step towards supporting Saudi Arabia’s vision for tourism expansion. The airline’s commitment to providing high-end travel services aligns with the Kingdom’s efforts to elevate its status as a key destination for luxury travel.
